25 Years in the Making

My November decision to officially form a business came right after another November decision was official. I became determined to control my own future. I got pen to paper, formed in January 2025, and 10 months later, I launched Main Street Designworks.

The idea to create a small business of my own began a few months earlier in 2024. I had left my job and relocated. My career as a full time graphic designer had come to an end. When I realized my new job was not going to be a forever job, I started to think of what was possible. It wasn't until a late October trip to Maine that my creativity began flowing.

Throughout my career as a graphic and web designer, I worked exclusively with small businesses, entrepreneurs and artists, helping Main Streeters create and develop their brands, establish their platforms and promote their work and cause. My cause, has always been paramount to me both professionally and personally so the progression to this next phase arced naturally.

Main Street Designworks is my next phase; with a charge to connect the creative community of Main Streets across the country, and share a curated collection of work with those who support the cause.

I believe in the significance and the power of Main Street. My life/career long commitment to Main Street (over Wall Street) has led me here. I'm proud to share with you, Main Street Designworks.
